SnowRunner A MudRunner Game

SnowRunner: A MudRunner Game is a sequel to Spintires: MudRunner, which is an advanced off-road vehicle simulator. The production was developed by Saber Interactive studio, and it was published by Focus Home Interactive.

Similarly to the previous part of the series, in SnowRunner: A MudRunner Game we sit behind the steering wheels of various machines, including trucks - the list includes vehicles from manufacturers such as Pacific or Hummer. There are also various trailers and semitrailers available. The game takes you through twelve vast open-world locations, some of which are up to four times the size of the previous MudRunner. Navigating with the help of the map, we drive in the wilderness and complete paid orders that include transporting raw materials.

The available lands are differentiated by the surface - we can prepare to encounter mud, water and even snow and ice; the latter can be found in Alaska, which makes its debut in the series. The matter is further complicated by the fact that the ground on which we move is deformed over time, making it easy to roll off a cliff or get buried in mud.

At such moments, a variety of "life preservers" come into play. Individual vehicles are susceptible to mechanical modifications, among which we can find a useful winch or a crane; besides, the authors allow us to instantly tow a vehicle that is stuck to a garage. With the money we earn as we progress we can also purchase parts that improve the performance of individual cars and increase their capabilities (such as components that allow us to drive in deep water). The developers also allow us to change the appearance of the machines.

SnowRunner: A MudRunner Game has an extensive tutorial, in which the authors introduce newcomers to the complicated rules of the game. Besides, we can play alone or in cooperative mode for up to four people.

In comparison with the previous part of the series SnowRunner: A MudRunner Game can boast a higher quality of visuals. The authors did their best to make the environment as detailed as the vehicle models; the latter were enriched with detailed cockpits. In addition, the user interface has been improved and made more user-friendly.
