Mr. Prepper

Mr. Prepper is a simulation adventure game, developed by an independent team Rejected Games. Developed by the Polish company PlayWay, the game was released on PC.

Mr. Prepper is set in a fictional country whose citizens must live according to the rules set by the totalitarian government, otherwise they disappear without a trace; on top of that, the spectre of the nuclear apocalypse hangs over the country. In the game, we play as a so-called prepper - a man who believes that a catastrophe is coming soon, so he acquires skills and equipment to be prepared for anything. In his underground lair, he prepares to take control of the situation and break the status quo.

In Mr. Prepper, the action is shown from the side. The main element of the gameplay is digging holes in the ground and developing the above-mentioned hideout, just like in Fallout Shelter - in this way we gain rooms which can be used, among others, as workshops or greenhouses. Apart from that, crafting system plays an important role (thanks to it we construct useful tools), as well as trade with neighbors (who in exchange for various goods will share with us the things we need). However, it's worth keeping an eye on, because representatives of the authorities often wander around controlling the residents - if one of them knocks on our door, it's better not to wait too long before letting him inside.

Mr. Prepper has decent quality graphics - its colorful colors and futuristic designs of devices found in the hideout contrast with the dystopian atmosphere of the game.
