Red Solstice 2 Survivors

The Red Solstice 2: Survivors is the second installment of the tactical science fiction game set on the planet Mars, which as a result of a mysterious virus has become humanity's only hope. Driving a team of Marines, we fight for survival, struggling with bloodthirsty human biomass.

Plot

In the year 117 After Earth, large corporations fight for influence over the Martian colonies struggling with a virus that caused humanity to leave the Blue Planet. Despite all precautions, the virus has also spread to Mars. Some of the surviving refugees have turned into mutated monsters that threaten the rest of the survivors. Here the player enters the action, directing the fate of a special team of Marines, must deal with monsters and power-hungry corporations.

Mechanics

The Red Solstice 2: Survivors is a game offering a story campaign consisting of tactical missions in which the player's task is to survive and achieve the set goal, struggling with the effects of the dangerous STROL virus. This is not a randomly transmitted virus, but an intelligent biomass, thinking strategically and aiming at total elimination of humanity.

We observe the struggles from a top-down perspective. In the game we control a team of Marines, which can be chosen from eight available in the game character classes, having unique skills, statistics and strengths and weaknesses. So created team is sent to scattered on Mars locations, on special missions to stop the virus from spreading. During these missions our team collects resources and necessary items, thanks to which they have the opportunity to create and invent items that make battles easier: battle armor, artillery, grenades and turrets, among others.

Game Modes

The Red Solstice 2: Survivors can be played alone or enjoyed with friends. Multiplayer mode gives you the opportunity to play with up to eight players at once. Depending on our needs, we can start and finish the adventure together, but also join other players at any time, sharing the produced goods and invented plans. A special cooperative survival campaign is also designed for multiplayer games.

Technical Issues

The Red Solstice 2: Survivors is maintained in a style typical of the science fiction genre, and is geared towards inducing claustrophobia and a sense of entrapment in the player. This is influenced by the battles played out in tight quarters, climatic opponents, as well as the soundtrack that emphasizes it all.
