How Aliens Fireteam Elite Plays

You pick from five classes – gunner, technician, medic, scout, or demolisher. Each changes how you approach the fight. Medic keeps everyone alive. Demolisher blows things up. Simple enough? Not really. You'll face over 20 enemy types, including 11 different Xenomorph variants. Some crawl on ceilings. Some burst from the floor. One even mimics your dead teammates. Yeah, that happens.

Missions are structured across four campaigns, three missions each. You fight through corridors, open areas, and hive-like tunnels. Friendly fire is always on. Shoot your buddy? They'll feel it. Trust me on this. Difficulty modifiers let you crank up alien aggression and limit resources if you want more pain.

You can play solo with AI bots or online co-op with two friends. The bots do their job – mostly. Sometimes you just stand there and stare at a Xenomorph charging at you. Good times.
