Jurassic World Evolution 2

Jurassic World: Evolution 2 is a continuation of the economic strategy Jurassic World: Evolution, released in 2018, the action of which was set in the Jurassic Park universe. The experienced Frontier Developments studio, which has in its portfolio, among others, the RollerCoaster Tycoon series and Planet Zoo, is responsible for developing the title.

The production features characters known in the universe. Among them we can distinguish Ian Malcolm and Claire Dearing. These characters are voiced by actors who played them in movies from the series: Jeff Goldblum and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Mechanics

Just like in the previous installment of the series, in Jurassic World: Evolution 2 the player takes on the role of a park manager inhabited by prehistoric creatures. His tasks include acquiring new species, taking care of the infrastructure and ensuring the safety of visitors. In total, the production offers 75 types of dinosaurs, among which there are aquatic and flying creatures. What is important, all dinosaurs can be genetically modified. This changes not only their appearance, but also their features. For example, you can create extremely dangerous hybrids or make even a T-Rex docile as a puppy.

This time the park is not located on the Muertes Archipelago. Instead, players get access to a number of locations located in different environments. In addition, the production introduces the ability to customize the functions of individual buildings.

Game modes

Jurassic World: Evolution 2 offers four game modes. The first of them is a classic story campaign, in which players must meet specific tasks. The second - Chaos Theory - will allow to recreate the most important events known from the film series or try to change their course. Apart from that, we have Challenges, i.e. missions with specific goals to complete in a limited time period, and Sandbox, where we don't have to worry about any limits.
