Warcraft III: Reforged is a remastered version of the legendary 2002 RTS Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and its add-on The Frozen Throne. The producer of the title is the American studio Blizzard Entertainment. This extremely popular developer is responsible for the creation of the Warcraft brand, which was born in 1994. Warcraft III: Reforged was officially announced at the BlizzCon convention in November 2018.

Storyline

Warcraft III: Reforged takes us to the fantastic world of Azeroth and allows us to learn the story of four races (orcs, humans, undead and night elves) who are at war with each other for control of the entire land. We learn the story during interludes on the game engine (in total, their length exceeds four hours), which focus on several of the main characters of the campaign.

Mechanics

Warcraft III: Reforged is a classic real-time strategy in which the action is presented in an isometric view. Players build bases, gather resources and then recruit units to send into battle against enemies. Changes in gameplay balance have been made to the remaster - many of which are the result of suggestions from fans and e-sports players.

Game modes

In addition to the single-player campaign, we can also have fun in multiplayer mode. Multiplayer is fully compatible with the original version of the title. Since both games use the same engine, the remaster can also use maps prepared by players in the editor included with the original.

Technical issues

Warcraft III: Reforged offers refreshed visuals, which have been adjusted to work with high resolutions. A suite of community features and solutions for the player matching system and more have also been introduced.
