Yakuza Kiwami

This game is an adventure video game played on a third person perspective, while role playing in an open-world atmosphere. The player handles the protagonist Kazuma Kiryu as he ventures the streets of Tokyo. In the game’s story, players can encounter enemies they need to battle while on the streets. There are also people where Kiryu gets rewards while pursuing his quests. 

Just like its prequel Yakuza 0, the game attributes four fighting styles that each player can do while in battle. There is Kiryu’s traditional Dragon style, the weak yet quick rush style, the slow and heavy beast style, and the balanced brawler style. Experience points are earned for upgrades, like extensions to Kiryu’s health bar plus other new techniques. The player too earns money which he can use to buy healing items and equipment, or to play minigames like karaoke, gambling and Mesuking. If the player completes objectives, he will be given a special completion point currency, which will make him receive bonuses, like character upgrades and special items. 

The Yakuza Kiwami introduces the new “Majima Everywhere” game system, which Goro Majima will rival and battle Kiryu. Majima will appear randomly in every exploration and will challenge those players in progress. He will also appear while playing a minigame to fight Kiryu. If the player defeats Majima, he can earn new capabilities for Kiryu’s dragon style.
