I have a big problem with this game, the installation stops at 60.7% and appears unarc.dll returned an error code -11.

I increased the paging file to 16gb min/max, tried two aio versions of visual c, lowered the uac permissions, tried win10 pro 22h2 and ltsc 21h2, deactivated the antivirus, run as administrator and compatibility with window 7, tried installing In safe mode, I tested my ram with memtest and it's fine. nothing worked. I don't know if it's relevant but I have a cheap patriot p210 ssd with bad slc cache, when I transfer an individual file larger than 30gb the writing speed drops to 6mb/s or less when it exceeds 30gb. My other specs i7 3770 8gb ram ddr3 Udimm

  The saves should be somewhere at :
  ->Users->"your name"->AppData/Local
  ->Users->"your name"->AppData/Roaming
  ->Users->"your name"->Documents
  ->Users->Public->Documents->Steam
  Add it there (copy/paste).

  4K is a resolution pack for textures, the only icon you have is for the base game. Just install 4K pack into game's folder

how do i use my controller on this game? my controller is a generic controller, i tried changing around the KeyConfig but it still wouldn't detect my controller inputs, would appreciate any help

    did u do the right thing ? what error ? files must be in folder where is ur exe,to find out where is it go on desktop icon and open file location and there u can put x360ce.ini,x360ce_x64.ini,xinput1_3.dll( or whatever files u download for 64bit game ) then u run game from desktop icon like u do normally,game is 64 bit so u must download files for 64bit and do what i told u.

    tried to use version 4.x but the program would just crash whenever i connected my controller to my laptop. game would also crash at the loading screen. used version 3.x and everything was properly calibrated and usable at first, but when i moved the file to ffxv folder the program wouldn't even load my settings at all. tried to launchthe game, still crashed at the loading screen when the controller was connected. the controller was perfectly fine when i used mhw to play it

    dont do nothing just put the files where i told u and run the game if u can...if u cant then its a problem with game crashing,example when i played Vampyr with xbox360ce i also had crashes sometimes and it happen because game was acting like that i coudnt do nothing about it,anyway dont bother with calibration or anything just put the files where i told u and run yr game,when u delete files and replacing them with other version to try (4x,3x...) be cearful to delete x360ce.ini,x360ce_x64.ini,xinput1_3.dll or whatever files u put before u use other version to try... i stoped using Xbox360ce i bought xbox controller saved me alot of work,just plug and play...

    xbox360ce worked with mhw and naruto ninja storm, but not ffxv. did exacty as u said. probably it's the game files that didnt allow. thanks for the replies

    do u have file xinput1_3.dll ? what files u have ?
    it didnt trigger xbox360ce when u run game... RENAME that file xinput1_3.dll (right click mouse on that file and click RENAME and type xinput9_1_0.dll ) just rename it and it should trigger xbox360ce.

    yeah the file's name was xinput1_3.dll. i tried to remove the graphics file edit this time, now xbox360ce can actually load the ffxv controller config files, but it still crashes at loading screen when i launch the game. probably has something to do with the game files. i'll just play this game with mouse and keyboard then

    Ok,game is crashing same thing like I had in game Vampyr sometimes and reason is files from xbo360ce. But when I plug in Xbox controller game was working fine in my case, u should buy cheap Xbox controller it will save u time and ull not have problems if u like using controller,anyway enjoy in ur game.
