Exploring the Other World

Combat in Ni no Kuni is a hybrid beast. You control Oliver directly in real time, but you can pause to issue commands. Swap between party members on the fly. Catch and level up familiars - little monsters that fight for you. Timing is everything. I died. A lot. Especially against that one cat king. Lesson learned: always bring a spare sword.

The story hits hard. Oliver loses his mother and sets off to save her soul in a parallel world. You'll cross lush valleys, vast oceans, and creepy forests. Meet dragons, cat kings, and even a skeleton with attitude. Not gonna lie, I teared up a bit during the opening. The world feels alive, like a Studio Ghibli movie you can walk through.

Available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Russian with English and Japanese audio. Honestly? I spent more time catching familiars than I care to admit.
