Side-scrolling colony management with a dwarven soul. You get orders from the surface - sometimes it's a dragon-plasma-infused sword, other times just a pickaxe. Exotic materials pay better. Trust me on this, you'll spend hours rerouting conveyor belts just to shave off a second of travel time.
Your dwarves gain experience, unlock bonuses, and work their way through deep tunnels. You can upgrade facilities with elevators and conveyor belts. Honestly? Watching them haul ore never gets old.
The game is solo-only, which is fine for when you want full control. Cartoon-style visuals keep it light even when the surface world is in chaos. Mod support is there if you want to tweak things.
