Alchemy works in five steps. Gather ingredients, mix them, add a catalyst, pray, and hope for the best. Not gonna lie, I spent three hours just mixing ingredients to unlock a single new recipe. The satisfaction when it works? Worth it.
Combat is turn-based with a twist. You can swap characters mid-battle. Chain combos. Use items you crafted yourself. Died to a slime on my first outing. Yeah, that happens. The weather changes everything too. Rain makes some plants grow. Snow blocks paths. Plan your trips.
Characters matter. Each one has personal quests. You help them, they help you. No world-ending threat. Just a girl, a book, and a town full of people with problems. Available in English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese.
