You crash-land near the Ember Tree. It's dying. A madman named Praxis drained it dry. Now you pick up a sword, a bow, or a staff and start hacking through monster-filled maps. Ember Knights is all about skill-based combat. You dash through procedurally generated maps, chaining attacks and casting spells. Want to be a sword-wielding tank? Go for it. Prefer a stealthy archer? That works too. The agility-based combat system lets you create combos on the fly.
The co-op mode supports up to four players. You combine skills, share potions (or forget them - I died. A lot.), and tear through waves of enemies together. The 2D retro pixel art is charming.
