What Makes WRATH Aeon of Ruin Tick
This game runs on the Quake engine, and you can feel it. Movement is snappy, weapons hit hard, and the dark fantasy world just oozes atmosphere. Each of the nine weapons handles differently. The shotgun? Reliable. The weird artifact that shoots lightning? Pure chaos. Honesty? Sometimes you just spam fire and hope for the best.
Levels are packed with secrets. Eighteen of them, from crypts to ruins, and each one hides something. Check every corner - trust me, you'll miss stuff otherwise. The soundtrack by Andrew Hulshult and Bjorn Jacobsen sets the mood perfectly. Crank it up.
If you liked Amid Evil, this is in the same lane. Classic FPS with modern polish. You can run it on a potato, too - those minimum specs are low for a reason.
