The party game mode throws 50 mini-games at you across six categories: speed, accuracy, luck, memory, sports, and combat. I've seen friendships end over the memory games. Just saying.
Adventure mode gives you a story. Join Papa Smurf, stop Gargamel, explore 10 regions. Over 100 Smurfs show up. It's a trip. You can play solo or with up to three friends locally. Splitscreen madness. Easy? Not really. Some mini-games are brutal.
