How The Thing Remastered Plays
You lead a squad of four specialists. Soldiers shoot. Medics heal. Engineers fix stuff. But each of them has a trust bar and a fear meter. If they're scared enough, they freeze up or even turn on you. Run a blood test to check for infection - but do it too often and morale tanks. Trust issues, anyone?
The KEX Engine pushes 4K resolution and up to 144 FPS. Shadows creep under doors. The flamethrower lights up the dark in ways that make you wince. Honestly? It looks better than it has any right to.
You'll face head-spiders, tentacled masses, and things that used to be your friends. Twenty levels of pure, cold dread. Sometimes you just stand there and stare at a corpse - waiting to see if it twitches.
