You can take on the ever-changing Citadel alone, or team up with up to 4 players. It is built around cooperation, especially when the difficulty goes up. That is when roles start to matter - you may lean into DPS, Healer, or Tank to survive the rougher fights.

Build your run: loadouts, abilities, and passives

Before you head in, you shape how you want to play. You create your own loadout by selecting 4 abilities from over 45 abilities, then choose your suit and weapon. During an expedition, you also stack passives that can change your approach from run to run. Some runs feel clean and controlled. Others get messy fast - in a fun way.
