Forza Horizon 6 Gameplay

The biggest change in this entry is the return of the old progression system. You arrive at the Horizon Festival as a nobody. A tourist. You drive slower cars at first, complete qualification races, earn new wristbands, and slowly move toward the top drivers on the server.

There are more than 550 cars available at launch, including rally monsters, drift builds, track racers, SUVs, kei cars, and classic Japanese street machines. Some players will spend hours tuning suspension settings. Others will buy a tiny van and paint it bright pink. Both approaches work.

The map feels huge because the roads constantly change. Tokyo has elevated highways and busy intersections packed with traffic lights and narrow exits. Rural areas are quieter, with long downhill curves and small towns hidden between forests.

Co-op and multiplayer modes are a major part of the game. You can join Car Meets, compete in Eliminator matches, build tracks together in EventLab, or just cruise around Japan with friends while music plays in the background.

Garage customization also plays a bigger role this time. You can buy homes across Japan, display favorite cars inside personalized garages, and invite other players to visit.
