Far Cry 5

Far Cry 5 is the 5th main installment in the Far Cry video game series and sequel to Far Cry 4. The first-person shooter game is set in the fictional region of Montana, US. It revolves around the doomsday cult Project at Eden's Gate that has conquered the country. 

Players take control of a junior deputy sheriff called the Deputy who is a member of a task force sent to arrest the cult’s leader, Joseph Seed. They have to work together with groups of a resistance to free the country from the tyrannical rule of Eden's Gate and Seed. Players fight dangerous wildlife and enemy soldiers using a wide range of weapons.

Far Cry 5 has role-playing elements like side quests and branching storyline. It also has a competitive multiplayer mode, map editor and co-operative multiplayer mode. The game has a weapons ballistics system that features elements such as a bullet dropping over a specific distance to make it more convincing. 

By completing actions in a region, players earn Resistance Points that build up to prompt major story events. These points affect the Resistance Meter that divides every region into 3 tiers. As it increases, players will run into more enemy attacks. 

Far Cry 5 has a recruitment system that allows players to recruit locals to join their cause. The game relies on the players establishing relationships with other characters to determine events, different characters, and story missions. They can use the Specialists to tame wild animals that will follow their orders and help them in their fights.
