You drop colored Puyos into a well. Or maybe Tetriminos. Why not both? Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 throws two puzzle titans into one arena. You clear your board and send garbage to your opponent. The last one standing wins. Simple? Not really.

This sequel adds Skill Battle mode. Pick three characters with unique abilities. It is like an RPG crossed with a puzzle game. I died a lot before I got the hang of it.

Match four or more Puyos of the same color. They pop. Tetriminos drop and clear lines. Garbage Puyos fly to your rival board. Yeah, that happens. You panic. You chain combos. You might win. Or not.

Skill Battle mode lets you build a team. Each character has a special skill - healing, attacking, defense. You time them right. Sometimes you just stand there and stare while the opponent chains seventeen Puyos in a row. Trust me on this.

New Adventure mode has a story. Colorful and silly. Classic modes let you play pure Tetris or pure Puyo Puyo. Multiplayer supports up to four players locally or online. Check out Tetris or Puyo Puyo Champions for more puzzle action.
