How Old World Plays
You manage a dynasty across generations. Each character has unique traits - good rulers and bad ones. You gather food, wood, stone, and iron. Trade them wisely. The market shifts based on supply and demand. Easy? Not really. You also build a tech deck, picking cards for advancements. Pick wrong and you fall behind.
The map is hexagonal. Expanding cities and building wonders costs orders, which you earn through legitimacy. Want to invade your neighbor? Plan ahead. You have ten ambitions to complete - procedurally generated tasks inspired by real history. Complete them and you win. Or just score highest. But where's the fun in that?
