How Netherworld Covenant Plays

You play as a warrior who survived a disaster. Your runs push through procedurally generated locations that feel like labyrinths. The goal is simple to say and hard to do: stay alive long enough to cut through corrupted heroes and demonic lords. The isometric camera forces you to read space and angles - you are constantly judging distances, escape routes, and boss attack patterns.

The Nether Lantern lets you form pacts with fallen allies and bring them back into physical form. Each companion has a clear role: a swordsman for close pressure, a ranger for safe spacing, a guardian for messy fights, and a rogue for aggressive plays. Trust me on this - picking the right one turns a losing fight into a comeback.

Combat happens in real time. You dodge, you parry, you use Ethereal Dash to reposition. Easy? Not really. Enemies have weaknesses you need to spot fast. Boss fights against fallen lords and primordial demons are where it clicks. Your soul companion choice changes the flow of a duel. One setup keeps you safe. Another makes you faster but riskier.

Between runs you return to camp. Forge weapons, stock items, talk to NPCs, unlock allies. Sometimes you just stand there and stare at your loadout planning the next run.
