Inside Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series
Two classic platformers in one package. Door to Phantomile from 1997 and Lunatea's Veil from 2001. Both run at higher resolution with improved effects. The first game is based on the 2008 Wii remake, so it looks sharp.
Gameplay is pure 2.5D platforming. You move left to right through colorful stages. Traps, collectibles, and enemies everywhere. Klonoa catches foes in his wind ring, inflates them, and tosses them around. Or you jump on them. Simple but satisfying.
I died. A lot. Some jumps are nasty. But checkpoints are fair, so you keep pushing. Each level ends with a boss fight. Some are tough, some are a joke. Easy? Not really.
There's a co-op mode for two players. Grab a friend and tackle the dream worlds together. Splitscreen fun for old-school vibes.
