Hello Neighbor 2 is a stealthy FPP view held in a horror convention. The title belongs to the popular series developed by the Eerie Guest studio (formerly known as Dynamic Pixels), which includes books, an animated film and more, in addition to games. tinyBuild Games is responsible for the game's release.

The plot

Hello Neighbor 2 is a direct continuation of the events known from the first installment of the series. Mr. Peterson, or the title neighbor, has disappeared under mysterious circumstances. The player takes on the role of a character investigating the case of this disappearance. However, a mysterious humanoid creature with a bird's head stands in his way.

Mechanics

Hello Neighbor 2 offers an open world encompassing the town of Raven Brooks and its close surroundings, which can be freely explored - including, in keeping with the series' traditions, the antagonist's house, which we must break into. An important element of the mechanics is the advanced artificial intelligence of our opponent. As we traverse the open world, and as we try to defeat the home's defenses, the creature learns our habits and will adjust its behavior accordingly. Realization of the goal requires deceiving the artificial intelligence. To do this, you need to avoid the traps set (they appear on the paths you take most often), hide and distract the enemy - you can use various decoys (such as water boiling in a kettle) that will attract the creature and negate the risk of detection. Hello Neighbor 2 additionally allows you to collect equipment to facilitate the task, such as cameras to track the creature from a safe distance.

Technical issues

Hello Neighbor 2 offers colorful 3D graphics. The title also features more advanced AI than the first part of the series.
