What is Master of Magic 2022?
You pick a mage. Each one plays differently. Then you explore a hexagonal map - hexes, not squares. It matters. You cast spells from five schools of magic. Fire, water, earth, air, and more. Over 200 units wait for your command. Orcs, elves, dragons. Yeah, the dragons are as awesome as they sound.
The magical prowess you develop shapes everything. Collect magical items - over 200 of them. Build academies. Train your casters. If you enjoy that, try Spellcaster University too.
Not gonna lie - the first time I lost my main army to a surprise attack, I stared at the screen for a minute. That's the game. One wrong move and you're done. But that's what makes it great.
