How Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance II Plays

Combat is fast. Real fast. You swing, you shoot, you cast. Everything happens in isometric view. The camera stays fixed while you move through the city and dungeons.

You level up and spend skill points. Unlock new special moves. Each character has their own skill tree. Dorn gets rage abilities. Ysuran raises the dead. I died. A lot. Especially on higher difficulties.

Four difficulty levels. New Game Plus unlocks after beating the game. Co-op mode lets a friend join on the same screen. Splitscreen chaos at its finest. You can also play solo - both ways work fine.

If you played the original Dungeons and Dragons Dark Alliance, this feels familiar but bigger. More enemies, more loot, more skills. It's also connected to the Baldur's Gate universe, but you don't need to know the lore to enjoy it.
