How Half-Life Alyx VR Plays
This is not a typical shooter. You physically duck behind cover, reach out to grab a bottle, and hurl it at a Combine soldier. Motion controls make every action deliberate. Honestly? You'll feel like you're really there.
The puzzles are clever. You need to use your environment - pulling levers, rotating valves, stacking objects. The world responds to your hands. Sometimes you just stand there and stare at the detail. City 17 is hauntingly beautiful in VR.
The story picks up before Half-Life 2. You play as Alyx Vance, trying to find a way to stop the Combine. Your father Eli is captured early on. The narrative is classic Valve - gripping and full of twists. I died. A lot. But each death teaches you something.
Available in English, Polish, German and many other languages with subtitles. Audio is in English.
