What do you do as a janitor on a doomed spaceship? You explore. You talk to weirdos. You solve puzzles. Harold Halibut is a point-and-click adventure at heart, but it's not just clicking on things. You also pilot a submarine into the alien sea. I died. A lot. Not from combat - from getting lost in the beautifully cluttered corridors.
The story kicks off when Harold's scientist friend needs help. It spirals into something bigger. Themes of home, purpose, and what it means to leave a place you've never known. The full voice acting helps sell it. You actually care about these handmade people.
