Songs of Conquest Gameplay

You play as a Wielder from one of four factions. Arleon knights, Rana swamp tribes, Loth necromancers, Barya mercenaries. Each has a campaign told through evolving songs. Not gonna lie, the soundtrack alone is worth it.

Combat is turn-based. Position your units carefully. One wrong move and your army gets wiped. I died. A lot. You learn to plan ahead after the first few losses.

Outside battles, you manage your kingdom. Build structures, gather resources, research advancements. Space is limited. Easy? Not really. Every building matters. Then you explore Aerbor, capturing mines and settlements. Watch for sneaky enemies.

The game includes a map editor. Script events, control soundtracks, share your creations. Single player and multiplayer modes work well. Local hotseat and online options are available.
