Inside Detention – Survival and Story

The school feels alive. Not in a good way. Detention uses a point-and-click interface where you pick up objects, solve puzzles, and hide from things that hunt you. You are basically defenseless. Honestly? Running is your best weapon.

The environments are 2D but layered with detail. Desks overturned. Posters peeling. The game pulls from Taiwanese and Chinese mythology, mixing Taoist and Buddhist beliefs. It's not just scary. It's culturally distinct.

Stealth is key. You can set traps and distract enemies. I died. A lot. The game teaches you patience through failure. Available in English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese with English audio.
