Inside Jukai Maze

You step into Aokigahara with a simple plan. Shiu disappears. The mist closes in. Then you wake up in a place where everyone has a different theory about where you actually are. Is it a dream? Another planet? The Labyrinthine? You decide by picking a dialogue option - and the story commits.

The game is fully voiced in Japanese. That matters when a character's tone shifts between comfort and threat in the same sentence. Character portraits change subtly, and those tiny shifts sell the doubt. Trust me on this - you'll catch yourself staring at expressions trying to read them.

Branches go deep. One choice changes relationships. Another recontextualizes the whole hospital. A murder case pulls you further in. You investigate by connecting clues, and just when you think you understand, the ground shifts. Like in Morphos, space and form reveal hidden depths.

Easy? Not really. That's the point. You're not looking for one true ending - you explore multiple ones, each offering another angle on the same mystery. Some feel like answers. Others feel like a new question with teeth.
