How Craftlings Plays

You don't control a hero. You control the path. Craftlings walk until something stops them - a wall, a ladder, or a cliff. Place ladders for vertical routes, blockades to redirect traffic, and signs to filter who goes where. It's like herding cats if cats were tiny pixel people with a death wish.

Construction needs resources. Lumberjacks chop wood. Miners dig stone. Someone carries it across the map. Swap roles on the fly. One minute you need wood. The next you need soldiers because a dragon showed up. Yeah, that happens. Production chains feel rewarding, like in Tiny Glade, where placing structures just clicks.

Combat ties into your economy. No support, no army. Skeletons, dragons, even a giant octopus you shoot with a ballista. Every fight starts as a question: can your village afford this? Visually it's pixel art with a calm soundtrack. So even when everything jams and craftlings walk off cliffs, it feels funny, not frustrating.
