Borderlands 4 also introduces weapon manufacturers that did not appear before, shaping core traits of the guns you find.

A notable twist is hybridization: you can equip a weapon with parts from different companies, mixing traits into something that feels like it should not work but absolutely does. Alongside guns, you carry items like grenades and syringes, letting you heal or gain other bonuses when the moment is right. Faster fights, repeatable bosses

Combat aims to be more dynamic thanks to new moves like dodges and the ability to swing on a line to reposition quickly across an arena. If you enjoy learning patterns and farming a specific encounter, you can repeat bosses and selected story missions.

Co-op and difficulty that fits you

Online co-op supports up to four players, and each player can adjust difficulty to match their own preference. That is handy when one friend wants a chill loot tour and another wants a tougher brawl.
