GreedFall The Dying World Gameplay and Story

You create your own character – appearance, attributes, talents. Then you are thrown into Gacane. Not gonna lie, the first hours are about learning the ropes. You explore places like Olima, the City of Stars, and the shores of Uxantis. Your ship, the Constanzia, serves as your base. Like in Gedonia, exploration is key.

Combat is more tactical than the first GreedFall. You can pause, give orders, switch between party members. There are three profiles: Tactical, Focused, Hybrid. You also have difficulty options from Story mode to Tactician mode. Want a challenge? Crank it up. Just want the story? Go easy. Easy? Not really – but you can tune it.

Eight companions join you. Each has their own story, beliefs, secrets. You can build friendships, even romance. But choices matter – mess up, and someone might leave. I died. A lot. That is the kind of RPG this is. Your alliances shift the world.
