You start college in Taipei. Normal, right? Then phantoms show up and wreck the place. Dusk Diver 2 drops you back into Yang Yumo's life as she juggles classes and demon-slaying. Not your typical freshman year.

You travel between the real world and a phantom dimension. That split keeps things fresh. One moment you walk through a night market. The next, you are in a twisted version of the same street fighting monsters. The anime presentation is loud and colorful - no subtlety here. Honest? That is the point.
