The camera stays behind Emma as she fights and climbs.

Combat sits at the center. Emma relies on her katana for direct attacks and for parrying enemy blows. A clean parry charges skills for Koo. You open a command menu to pick his abilities while time slows down. That pause lets you think instead of panic. Stealth works too. You sneak up on certain foes for a quiet kill or point Koo at a target so he removes them for you.

The plague that marks Emma also lets her control plant tendrils. These feel like extra limbs.
