This is a proper 4X game. You explore star systems, expand your borders, exploit resources, and exterminate enemies. Nine alien races each bring unique tech and stories. You can be a diplomat or a warmonger. Your call.

The ship designer is a highlight. Want a dreadnought with six laser cannons? Go for it. I spent hours just tweaking designs. Combat happens in real-time. You give orders, ships move, lasers fire. Easy? Not really. But it's satisfying when your fleet wins against the odds. If you enjoyed Endless Space 2, you'll feel right at home, though the ship builder here is more hands-on.

Heroes add another layer. Recruit commanders to lead fleets or governors to boost colonies. Every game session feels different. Available in English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish. Unlike Starpoint Gemini Collection, the focus here is on empire management from a top-down view.
