What Makes Spintires Special

You start in the late 1980s, Soviet Union. Cargo needs to move from point A to point B. Between them? Forest, swamp, river crossings, and hills that look harmless until you're sliding backwards. The physics engine simulates mud deformation in real time. Tires dig ruts. Water pools. Trucks tip over. I died. A lot.

Fuel management is brutal. Run out in the middle of nowhere and you're walking to find a depot. Or calling a buddy in co-op. The co-op mode lets up to four players work together - winch each other out, share fuel, or just laugh when someone flips their truck into a lake. Spintires also has links to other trucking titles like Spintires: MudRunner and 18 Wheels of Steel: Extreme Trucker 2.

Customization unlocks as you progress: extra lights, repair kits, different tires. Each choice affects handling. Mud tires help in swamp but wobble on hard roads. You learn to plan ahead. Or you don't. Trust me on this - you will forget something your first run.
