  Just add the '-nomemcheck' syntax and it should work. I've explained the steps in the comments below.
  
  P.S: open epic_emu.ini add -nomemcheck after Appname=Alanwake2 . It should look like this Appname=Alanwake2 -nomemcheck , now it works with less RAM memory.

the 1.13 update is not right

after I installed it over 1.12 it crashed and rebooted

reinstalled it and same thing happened

each time ,I ran thr fole checker and had corrupt files

  checked the files after every update , all OK
  
  no errors or corrupt files
  
  installed vc2013 x64 just for the hell of it first
  
  game loads fine all the way up to the point where I click continue
  
  and instant crash and reboot
  
  was fine with 1.12

  Ideally, I would follow the update-by-update step. After each installation, I recommend checking the files after the installation update. For example, 1.0.8, 1.0.8 - 1.0.10, 1.0.10 - 1.0.12.

For anyone who has distorted or crackling sound.. try to turned off you spatial sound and bluetooth that may connect to your other sound device.

I don't understand, this "+ update 1.0.8 - 1.0.9 (06.11.2023) & crack (by Codex/Rune), 221MB" already comes with 1.0.8 and 1.0.9? I found it strange because it is only 221Mb, whereas 1.0.8 is 3.39Gb.

Thanks for the Update. But the German voice output still hangs extremely. Sometimes the English comes through. I hope that the creators get this fixed.

Hello again! This is just a simple update to the old post. 😀

I tested the -nomemcheck command with the new update, at least for me it works fine (The steps are described below in the previous commentary).

For those who want to go on the executables provided in my old post, they work pretty well with the new update too. I'm not sure if there will be problems or not. I just tested for myself if the game starts and went into it to see if it causes any crashes. Nothing more. 🙂

NOTE : In case you're having lags & issues with this game, try to change some graphic details ingame.

Besides, if you have a Nvidia GPU, Nvidia just released the driver 546.01. For info, the driver 545.92 was adapted for this game and was supposed to make Alan Wake 2 run a bit smoother...

injouable je trouve vraiment ce jeux mauvais graphiquement c'est vraiment beaux mais le reste c'est une honte les bug dans le jeux le doublage fr le son qui fous le camp les texture qui bug c'est pas un AAA C'EST UN INDIE GAME BORDEL BREF CETTE MERDE EST UNE HONTE .

  Ne le prends pas mal, mais en lisant tes derniers posts, je trouve que tu as de plus en plus de problèmes de FPS et tu te plains de beaucoup de jeux qui ne tournent pas correctement sur ta config...

  Peut être que le problème vient de ta config ainsi que de ton hardware...
  
  PS Essaie le driver 545.92 de Nvidia qui a été optimisé pour ce jeu (Alan Wake 2). Peut être que ça améliorera un peu les choses... Et désactive le DLSS ainsi que le raytracing.
  
  Ensuite, pour aller dans ton sens, je reconnais que beaucoup de jeux ont été très mal optimisés quand on parle de leur port sur PC... La preuve, ce Alan Wake 2 demande une grosse configuration pour afficher un framerate suffisant et, si le raytracing est activé, même une RTX 4090 peut ne pas suffire...
  
  Néanmoins, ce n'est sans doute pas la seule raison et, même si beaucoup de jeux récents ont été optimisés à la truelle, tu sembles avoir des problèmes assez récurrents avec tes FPS et ton framerate, notamment sur les jeux récents...
  
  Peut être est-il l'heure de t'upgrader...

  For those who don't want to use the executables provided above, here is another solution, which will allow you to use the game executable directly.
  
  Here I am strictly referring to the cracked versions, not the ones purchased from Epic Games.😏
  
  This fix was offered by reddit user obi-once-kenobi . Here's what you need to do: Go to your game directory, open epic_emu.ini add -nomemcheck after Appname=Alanwake2 . It should look like this Appname=Alanwake2 -nomemcheck , now it works with less RAM memory without the two executables.
  
  This fix explained here also works on Epic Games launcher. How to do it: In the Epic Games launcher, click the 3 dots to the right of the game icon, which will open a small window above the launcher. Go to Manage , then in the Launch Options section , add the command -nomemcheck , then close the open window and start the game. That's it!
