How Total War: WARHAMMER Plays

You manage an empire on a turn-based campaign map. Build cities, recruit armies, and scheme against rivals. Then - real-time battles. Thousands of troops clash. You control infantry lines, cavalry flanks, and monsters that smash through formations. I died. A lot.

Each faction has unique mechanics. The Empire uses faith and artillery. Dwarfs never retreat - literally. Vampire Counts summon skeletons mid-fight. Greenskins get a Waaagh! meter that turns them into a murder blob. Sometimes you just stand there and stare at the carnage.
