How 20XX Plays

The core loop is simple. Enter a level, fight through enemies, collect Soul Chips, and try to survive. But here's the catch - permanent death. Screw up? Back to the start. No save scumming.

I died. A lot.

Randomly generated levels mean no two runs feel the same. One moment you're on a platforming section full of spikes, the next you're in a cramped corridor facing a miniboss. Adapt or die. The roguelike element keeps things fresh, much like in The End Is Nigh.

Play solo, or grab a friend for local or online co-op. Daily and weekly challenges add even more variety. Soul Chips let you buy upgrades between runs, so even death isn't a total waste. Visually, it's pixel art done right - smooth animations, high resolution support, and that classic retro feel.
