You crash-landed... no, wait. The apocalypse just happened. One day the news was on, the next day everything went dark. Now you're holed up with a few strangers, trying to figure out who lives and who doesn't. The game throws resource management, base building, and tactical combat at you all at once. Easy? Not really.

Your survivors have skills, needs, and opinions. Keep them fed. Keep them sane. And when demons show up at your gates, keep them alive. Trust me on this - you will lose people you got attached to. The tactical fights are turn-based, so rushing gets you killed. Plan each move like your last survivor depends on it.

The world is procedurally generated, so no two playthroughs play the same. Sometimes you just sit there and stare at the map, wondering if exploring that ruin is worth the risk. Like in The Final Station, checking your surroundings pays off. Ignore that lesson and you're dead.
