How Field of Glory: Empires Plays

You pick a civilization and start small. One city. A handful of troops. Then you expand. Develop your economy, research technologies, and build legions. Battles happen on a turn-based tactical map. Position your units. Flank the enemy. Break their morale. Easy? Not really. One mistake and your army routs.

Each culture plays differently - like in Oriental Empires, your choices define your path. You can focus on trade, military conquest, or cultural dominance. The AI is aggressive. It will exploit your weaknesses. I died. A lot. But that's the fun of it.

Diplomacy matters too. Make allies, break treaties, backstab rivals. Just don't trust everyone who smiles at you. Sometimes you just sit there and stare at the map, planning your next move for ten minutes. Honest.
