How Before We Leave Plays

Hexagons. Lots of hexagons. You build farms, factories, and houses on a grid of hexagonal planets. Resource management is the core loop - food, tools, population. It's a balancing act. Honestly? You'll mess it up a few times. But that's the fun of it.

Research unlocks old tech. Your people forgot everything after generations underground. You stumble upon ancient knowledge bit by bit. Cosmic whales roam space. Yeah, that happens. They eat planets. You need to deal with them somehow.

Establishing colonies on new planets changes everything. Suddenly you're shipping resources across the system. Trade routes, supply chains, all that good stuff. Easy? Not really. But satisfying when it clicks.
