What is Eastward?

Exploration is the heart of this game. You wander through charming locations, meet weird characters, and fight in real-time. Yes, you can use a frying pan as a weapon. I died. A lot. The pixel art draws from 90s Japanese animation. The soundtrack? Joel Corelitz made it - and it's included.

Each area hides surprises. One moment you're solving a puzzle, the next you're running from a monster. Honestly? You'll always want a spare weapon. Combat is simple but keeps you on your toes. You'll cook, explore, and piece the story together.

If you liked exploring in Eastshade, this has a similar discovery vibe in pixel form. The survival combat in Outward also comes to mind - but here it's lighter, more focused on narrative.
