You just moved into a new apartment. Boxes everywhere. Where does this lamp go? It's your call. Unpacking is a puzzle game about sorting through eight different homes across years. You place items where they feel right. The story? It's in the objects. No dialogue. No cutscenes. Just you and cardboard boxes. Trust me on this - it's oddly addictive.

How Unpacking Works

You start in an empty room. Boxes sit there, waiting. Pull out items one by one. A book. A mug. A photo frame. Where do they go? That's up to you. The game doesn't judge. Put the toaster in the bathroom if you want. Honestly? It's surprisingly satisfying.

Each move takes you to a new home - a dorm, an apartment, a house. The items change as the protagonist grows up. You'll see her hobbies shift, her relationships form and fade. All told through objects. No text, no voice. Pretty clever, right? If you enjoy unpacking things, you might also like more complex puzzle boxes.
