You crash-land in Engardin searching for a lost mentor. The world is beautiful, hand-drawn, and absolutely massive. But it's not friendly. Over 170 different enemies want you dead, and 30 bosses will make sure of it. I died. A lot.

Inside Afterimage
Combat is fast and brutal. You wield swords, spears, whips, and more - six weapon classes total. Pair them with secondary weapons, armor, and accessories. 200 items to mix and match. Talent points let you develop stats and skills. Want a tank? Go for it. Prefer speed? Your call. Honestly? You can build whatever fits your style.
Exploration is key. Engardin has multiple biomes, hidden paths, and secrets everywhere. You unlock new abilities that open up previously inaccessible areas. Classic metroidvania stuff, but the hand-drawn art makes it special. Sometimes you just stand there and stare at the backgrounds.
Your choices affect the story. Multiple endings depending on what you do. Who you help, what you find, which path you take - it matters. Easy? Not really. Satisfying? Absolutely.
