How Stonehearth Plays - Survival Meets Creativity
Each settler has a profession. Hunter, carpenter, mason, brewer. They get better over time. Sometimes they switch jobs entirely. Yeah, that happens. Your blacksmith might decide farming is more peaceful. You deal with it.
The building system is modular. Use pre-designed plans or craft your own. Want a tower shaped like a dragon? Go for it. The world is fully destructible. Build on cliffs, in forests, or underground. medieval times meet fantasy monsters - goblins, dragons, giant turtles. They all want a piece of your town.
Combat is optional. There's a peaceful mode if you just want to build. But if you enjoy settlement survival, crank up the difficulty. Rival nations attack. Beasts rampage. Your walls better hold.
I died. A lot. First few games ended with everyone starving or eaten. But that's the fun - you learn, rebuild, do better next time.
Modding tools let you add weapons, monsters, entire systems. The community creates crazy stuff. New swords, custom furniture, whole new biomes. Available in English.
