Inside Norse Oath of Blood

The game splits into two halves. One is settlement building - you gather resources, construct buildings, and attract specialized settlers. The other is turn-based tactical combat, where positioning is everything. Place your Drengr on the frontline. Let your Berserkr loose when the timing feels right. Keep your Hersir close to boost morale.

Your warband has five classes. Drengr holds the line. Berserkr goes wild - unpredictable but devastating. Hersir leads and frightens enemies. Bogmathr picks targets from a distance. Rekkr breaks armor with area attacks. Figuring out the right combo? That is the puzzle. I died. A lot. Until I found a formation that worked.

The story is written by Giles Kristian. It follows Gunnar's revenge against Steinarr Far-Spear, who killed your father and scattered your clan. You cannot just rush in. You need to build up your settlement, gear up your warband, and pick your fights carefully. Easy? Not really. But that is the point.
