What is Crypt of the NecroDancer?

At its core, it's a roguelike. You explore randomly generated dungeons, grab weapons and spells, and fight monsters. But here's the kicker - everything runs on a beat. Enemies move to the music. You move to the music. Miss a step and you're dead.

I died. A lot. The first few runs feel impossible. But once you get the rhythm, something clicks. You start predicting enemy patterns. You chain moves together. It becomes a dance.

The soundtrack by Danny Baranowsky helps a ton. Chiptunes and heavy beats that sync with the action. You can even import your own music. Try fighting a dragon to death metal. It works.
