Can anyone post the mhw.exe here like put it on gdrive then share link to me cause i need it, when i on my pc the mhw.exe is suddenly missing and that is the only thing i need, i dont wanna redownload it cause it took me alot of time. pls ty.

just downloaded the game but it gets the infinite loading error upon start up at around 25 - 30%. Anybody knows how to fix this? TIA

2 little questions...
-Does this extract to roughly the same size, or do I need more than, say, 120GB to accommodate the RARs and the extract folder?

-Is the major discrepancy between download size and the eventual HDD disk space due to the optional 4k textures, or is there something else I'm missing?

  Hello, the previous version 14.00.00 had included by default the 4K textures, but in this latest 15.11.01 they are optional, and after extracting all the parts excluding the 4K (which I didn't download), the ISO file is actually the same size of all the RAR parts. And after installing the game is around 51 GB, so it's the same as the ISO also. I hope this helps.

One last thing I just found is this other tool that seems recently updated and in theory can change the player and palico names: https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/751?tab=files

Although I haven't tested it yet, but other people says it works too.

Maybe this info may help others on this page to keep their saves and continue them further on without the need of starting a new blank save. The previous version (14.00) had a crack by PARADOX with a steam ID of "76561198014953737", but now this 15.11 version is by CODEX and now has a ID of "76561197960267366".

And I learnt by myself that the previous PARADOX save files were on "C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\PARADOX\582010\remote" and the new CODEX now is on "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Steam\CODEX\582010\remote". Also the newest files are all in lower case (although they should work in both cases I also changed mine, just in case).

But to change the ID of your save you first need to download this free tool from nexusmods: "https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/1913?tab=files"

Once the file is downloaded first make a copy of your save files to be sure, and then just drag and drop your file named "savedata1000" directly onto the executable (without opening it first, just drop it onto it's icon in the explorer).

Now it should show you your previous game ID, so just write or paste the new one, in this case the CODEX one that is "76561197960267366", press enter and wait a few seconds. Now you should be able to move or copy the same file you dragged a moment ago into the path of the CODEX version along with the file called "photodata00.dat".

Now, after starting the game you should be able to continue your save as if nothing happened at all.

By the way this version also works with mods without problems (I already tested some), just make sure that the Stracker loader is of the same version of the game or it will crash at startup in case you want to use mods.

This knowledge was difficult to gather since I also tried another tool that didn't work at all despite showing the correct game IDs, but it didn't edit them correctly. I really hope that someone else might benefit from this trick to keep a previous save file, and by the way this trick also works with save files of other players around the web. Thanks a lot for your attention and have a nice day :-)
